TECNALIA has successfully connected HarshLab, its floating offshore laboratory, to the BiMEP electrical grid, marking a major milestone in the evolution of offshore testing infrastructures for renewable energy technologies.This achievement significantly expands HarshLab’s capabilities, opening new opportunities for the testing and validation of materials, components and innovative offshore energy systems under real marine operating conditions.As a grid-connected floating offshore renewable energy HUB, HarshLab now enables more advanced testing campaigns, helping technology developers reduce risks, improve reliability and accelerate the path to market.
