HarshLab es una infraestructura abierta tanto a proyectos privados como a iniciativas financiadas a trav\u00e9s de convocatorias de financiaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica competitiva, u otras iniciativas de colaboraci\u00f3n p\u00fablico-privada.<\/p>\n

Los ensayos llevados a cabo en HarshLab ayudan a comprender c\u00f3mo las condiciones reales en medio marino pueden reducir la vida \u00fatil de equipos y componentes dise\u00f1ados para la industria offshore.<\/p>\n

Algunas de estas condiciones pueden ser simuladas en el laboratorio mediante ensayos en c\u00e1maras clim\u00e1ticas y otros ensayos de corrosi\u00f3n, pero fen\u00f3menos como la influencia del fouling en los primeros estadios de corrosi\u00f3n en materiales y recubrimientos son dif\u00edcilmente reproducibles en laboratorio.<\/p>\n
